Terms of Use

Last updated: April 1, 2026

These terms explain the rules for using FileLumo's online PDF tools, including your responsibilities, acceptable use, and the platform limits that keep service reliable.

These terms govern your use of FileLumo websites and tools. They are written to be readable; if anything conflicts with a mandatory law in your country, that law wins where it must, and the rest of these terms still apply where they can.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FileLumo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

If you use FileLumo on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms. Personal use is welcome too—the same rules apply whether you merge one PDF or fifty.

2. Service Scope

FileLumo provides online tools to process and convert files. We may update, suspend, or discontinue specific features at any time to maintain platform reliability.

We may add, change, or retire individual tools. When we post an updated “last modified” date on policy pages, please skim changes if you rely on FileLumo for recurring workflows—especially retention or limit tweaks.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the files and content you upload. You must have all required rights and permissions, and you must not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

You keep ownership of your files; we do not claim copyright over what you upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the conversion or edit you requested, then delete server-side copies per our privacy policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, bypass service limits, or interfere with normal operation.

Automated scraping, load testing without permission, or attempting to extract other users’ data from our systems is never okay. We may throttle, block, or report patterns that look like abuse to protect everyone else on the platform.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. While we aim for consistent performance, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileLumo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence where the law forbids that limitation.

6. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.

If a change materially reduces your rights, we will try to make that obvious on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, stop using FileLumo and delete any local copies of outputs you no longer need.

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
