Using FileLumo

Is FileLumo really free?+

Yes. FileLumo is free to use with no subscription, no hidden paywall, and no forced upgrade for core tools.

We publish limits transparently and keep the product usable without signup so you can finish PDF workflows quickly.

Do I need to create an account?+

No account is required for core tools.

You can upload, process, and download without signup, and we do not gate basic features behind login.

Is there any daily or monthly usage limit?+

There is no fixed daily or monthly conversion cap in our product.

Limits can still change as we tune capacity, and practical failures can happen due to browser memory, network timeouts, or temporary abuse protection. See the Limits page for full details.

What is the maximum file size?+

FileLumo currently does not publish a fixed upload size cap for all tools.

Very large files may still fail on slow networks or low-memory devices, and limits may change as capacity is tuned. Splitting very large PDFs or retrying on stable Wi-Fi usually helps.

Do downloads have a watermark or ads inside files?+

No. We do not add branding watermarks to exported files.

We also do not inject ads into your documents.

Can I use FileLumo for commercial or client work?+

Yes, many users process business and client documents.

You should still follow your contract, compliance, and internal data-handling policies before uploading sensitive files.

Privacy and Security

Are my files encrypted in transit?+

Yes. We use HTTPS/TLS for all uploads and downloads.

Are my files stored forever?+

No. All files sent to our servers are automatically deleted after about one hour.

We never sell your documents, never use them for ads, and we do not use your files to train AI models.

Do you use my documents to train AI models?+

No. We do not use your uploaded files or document contents to train public AI models.

Who can access my uploaded files?+

Access is restricted to automated processing systems and authorized personnel needed to operate the service.

Humans do not normally review your files unless required for security, abuse prevention, or critical troubleshooting. We apply least-privilege controls and keep retention short to reduce risk exposure.

Can I delete my file earlier than one hour?+

Automatic deletion runs after about one hour for server-side workflows.

Early manual deletion is not currently exposed as a user button, so avoid uploading files that your policy forbids from transient server processing.

Is processing done in my browser or on your servers?+

It depends on the tool. Some workflows run in-browser, while heavier conversions use secure server processing over TLS.

Each tool page states the processing path clearly before use.

Limits and Support

Do you keep logs of my documents?+

We keep limited technical logs for reliability and abuse prevention, not full document archives for marketing.

Uploaded server-side copies are removed after the retention window defined on the Limits page.

Will FileLumo always stay free?+

Today, FileLumo core tools are free with no forced signup.

If pricing changes in future, we will communicate updates transparently on policy and product pages.

Can I use FileLumo for confidential documents?+

Yes, many users use FileLumo for client and work documents.

However, you should always follow your own company security policy. We automatically delete files after about one hour and do not use them for training or advertising.

For strict no-upload environments, use only workflows that keep data local in browser and review our Privacy Policy and Security page.

How do I get support or report a bug?+

Use the contact form or email [email protected] with tool name, error details, and screenshots.

We usually reply within 24-48 hours on weekdays via Contact.

Do you log IP addresses or usage details?+

We keep limited technical logs such as IP, request metadata, and error events for reliability and abuse prevention.

We do not use document contents for advertising or AI training. See Privacy Policy for details.

Where are your servers located?+

FileLumo runs on cloud infrastructure and regions may vary by provider and routing.

Can I request deletion of logs or data?+

Uploaded server-side files are automatically deleted after about one hour.

For privacy requests related to logs or personal data, contact [email protected] and we will review valid requests under applicable law.
