Disclaimer
Last updated: April 1, 2026
This disclaimer helps you evaluate risk when using online PDF tools so you can choose the right workflow for legal, business, or personal documents.
This disclaimer explains how to think about risk when you use online file tools. It does not replace advice from your lawyer, insurer, or compliance officer—especially for regulated industries or cross-border data transfers.
Service Use
FileLumo provides file tools on an "as available" basis. We aim for reliable performance, but we cannot guarantee that every output will be suitable for all professional or legal use cases.
Formats like PDF, DOCX, and images are complex; edge cases include embedded fonts, odd color profiles, password layers, and malformed files from unknown sources. When output looks wrong, try another source export or a different tool setting before assuming the document is safe to circulate.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing processed files before final use, distribution, or submission. You must also ensure that you have the legal right to upload and process all content.
You also confirm you are not using FileLumo to process malware, illegal material, or third-party data you are not authorized to handle. If you are unsure, stop and obtain permission—uploading someone else’s personal data without a lawful basis can create liability for you, not just curiosity for our logs.
Limitation
To the maximum extent allowed by law, FileLumo is not liable for indirect losses resulting from interruptions, conversion differences, or file compatibility limitations.
That includes lost profits, missed deadlines, or reputational harm from a bad conversion—even when we feel bad about the outage. Where mandatory law does not allow a limitation, our liability is capped to the minimum amount the law permits.
